JATRO To Strengthen Its Presence In The Middle East With Nomination Of Mr. Taher Al Hashimi As Chief Representative
JATRO is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Taher Al Hashimi as the company’s Chief Representative in the Middle East, covering the United Arab Emirates (UAE) , the Sultanate of Oman and Saudi Arabia. The Gulf states play an increasingly important role in the renewable energy sector, both in terms of strategically located partner and ally between South East Asia and Europe as well as prime source for commercial scale project funding. With the fossil fuel era having surpassed its peak, the GCC states by and large are becoming increasingly receptive to the challenges and opportunities of renewable energy and environmental finance and the leading active roles associated with it. Even though the Middle East could easily afford to be least concerned about issues of climate change and carbon footprint, the rising level of awareness and the willingness to support and implement appropriate countermeasures is pleasantly high and counting. Major renewable energy initiatives with global reach have already initiated in the Gulf states and carry the signature of wholehearted commitment and conviction. Recognizing the unparalleled strategic advantage of a strong foothold in the Middle East, JATRO will apply a high priority to further strengthen its corporate ties and coordination efforts with select qualified partners.

Mr. Taher Al Hashimi, Chief Representative of JATRO Middle East (3rd from left), Christoph Weber, CEO of JATRO and His Highness Shaikh Majid Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi are meeting at Al Safiyah Palace in Ajman to discuss a strategic Joint Venture between the Emirate of Ajman and JATRO.
